+A first person survival horror Lovecraft inspired launch game! +Monster designs range from creepy to downright terrifying. The opposite is true if the player takes too long to clear levels (easier levels and worse ending). If a player quickly clears levels, they will start hitting harder levels but also reach the best ending. Levels branch non-linearly into the next level. Every level has a timer, and if the timer runs out, the player automatically loses. (The key won't be in the same place twice.) The player can shoot monsters using limited ammo (more ammo is found as the level is explored), as well as pick up hearts to maintain their life points.

All of these items' locations are randomly generated every time a level starts. The player can also find White Orbs (completely fills auto-map) and Black Orbs (shows item locations on auto-map). As the player explores, an auto-map is filled in. To do this, the player must find a key and use it on an exit door. The player must escape a series of increasingly difficult mazes filled with horrific monsters.

Lovecraft's story "The Shadow Over Innsmouth". It is based on a low-budget Japanese horror film of the same name, which itself was loosely based on H.P. 25m Played"Insmouose no Yakata" is a 1995 Virtual Boy survival horror maze game, developed by Betop and published by I'MAX (only in Japan).
